I’m Daisey Ostrander (née Blower) and I share my love of learning how to actually care for myself in my thirties. I’m a Californian who ended up with an Iowa guy and we love our little life in Chicago.

Now, on where the Being Blower brand originates.

Growing up with the last name, Blower, I heard my fair share of jokes. In reality, my identity is an incredible gift. I learned all about how to create connection in humor, how to deflect unkind perceptions and how to navigate through discomfort.

Being Blower is me building my sense of self.

My writing is where I work through the process of personal evolution. Being Blower is where I ruminate on my love of movement, my mental health affirming practices, the resources I lean on, and dole out unsolicited advice on professional evolution.
